GPR scan was performed on two areas next to each other to map out steel reinforcement system of a concrete slab on grade. High frequency GPR system with a GSSI SIR-4000 data collected was used to perform the scan and produce information for further use.

Setting up the scan area and scan line increment in accordance with the scope of work. Scan line increment was 4” in both lateral and longitudinal directions.

Interpolated Radar Image

After the last GPR scan line is collected a 3D radar image can be produced that will indicate the digital reinforcement layout of the scanned slab. As-built information can now be obtained for further use.
